Since your gonna use a version 1.2 plus mb, i reccomend the 1.5 with a Spiderchip GX. Its Solderless, cheap, and has a huge bank size (16 MB!) which can be setup to 6 banks i think. It's a great chip, it's what I use for my 1.5 Xbox

Update:

Well the 2 week window has passed and it's not done :( . The top part of the case is done but the bottom is not. The reason for the hold up is the batteries... It's just that I dont have a extra $200 for them right know. So as soon as I get them I will be able to finish the bottom ( that's were the batteries go) and it will be done... Now im thinking another 2 weeks and it will be done. And the green I got for it is a mountain dew green so its going to look real cool 8) .

Dkap01 already posted the top it should be back a few pages.

What kind of batteries are you planning to use, Li-Ploy? Cause I've never come across any other batteries that cost an arm and a leg.

I think Dkap01 ment that he finished the controller and the screen which are on the top parrt and just hasn't finished the back where the battery goes.
I will always put 8) at the end of my posts

you mean the same color as the mt dew xbox? did you try any other colors, because not to diss you or anything but that color stands out a lot and i think a black would be much sleeker looking and more modern. Imagine if the PSP was a lime green, chances are it wouldnt look as cool

How much power does the board take directly? I'm trying to piece togeter a Xbox MB I got for free so I can't do anything really just yet.

I'm not lien' about my Xbox LT it is a real attempt that more than likely fale in my hands.

The batteries that Im going to use are Li-poly and the ones Im looking at are about $200. The reason Im going with those are that there light and have a lot more power, The ones Im getting are 14.8v 11ah 163 wh, I think this will be more then enough to power it for a couple of hours.

The color is not the same color that the mountain dew xbox is, its a lot darker, think more like halo green. With that color and the black fan grills and the colored buttons, it will look great.

And for pictures of the top, I wont post any untill I paint it.... So I guess youll have to wait and see :D .

Those battery specs are awesome! That should easily power an Xbox. I hope they work.

I've got a 12V 7Ah that I think is just the right specs to not blow anything up. Of corse I got it for free and its a Lead battery so I'm going to case it with the power supply and give it an arm strap to cary the SOAB. Although those batterys you would use will be perfect for the job.
