ok, well i just opened my gamecube( more than opened, i like cracked it, stoopid nintendo screws!) anyway, how much voltage and mah does the GCN need with the lcd screen for GCN. So really i need to know how much power i need to power the GCN LCD moniter and the GCN. Also, i've heard that you can make the DVd drive smaller, how can i do this, it will make my design much more effective Also, i want to know how to make the Gamecube think the lid is always shut, how can i do this?

hey, i just got back from the mall and i bought a PS1 LCD screen for $20.00, and its the official 1st party sony brand!!!!!!!!!!!! I got it at EBGames. Anyway, i got it open and im ready to start workin on it. Now, i have been told that the PS1 lcd screen has a regulator, so can i use my 9 Volt battery and not fry the screen? i just want to test the screen to see if it works, seeing it has been used. And also, can someone post Gamecube video and audio pinouts to the lcd. That would be great.
ok, i'll try it, hope it wont fry........and also i need a gamecube to ps1 lcd pinout...can some1 post a somewhat detailed one, Thanks EDIT: Oh crap, the battery is 9.6 volts and it only has 600 mah...dang! I'm gonna search for some 7.2 volt batteries and 12-14 volt batteries on the internet. And oh yeah could i do this( probaly not, but oh well )
What i want is for it to power the screen by the 7.2 volts and then when that power passes through the other side of the power port to go into another 7.2 volt battery to bring the voltage up to 14.4 volts to power the gamecube. Would this work, or will the 14.4 volts find its way into the ps1 screen and fry it? And maybe if i put a regulator where the two red and black wires conect and go to the gamecube, maybe it could keep it from going to the screen (like one of those one way roads type of things) Well post back, and i will probally get a better battery with a larger mah. Also if i did this setup, would the mah add up to be 3000 mah? Or not? Please post back with your answers.
