It can most definantely work with other screens cause they are being sold at stores (they even have RGB in big letters on the box). If you wanna make a PS2p with rgb, don't use the psone screen. That's about it.

Can I do a suggestion? How about a switch to "switch in" a resistor onto the green line once the tint kicks in. ( I assume it doesn't increase as time goes on?) This way the screen would not be brighter but equally spread. The only problem left then is finding the correct resistor. A suggestion is making a dvd that makes the whole screen green. Measuring the green line's voltage until the tint kicks in. Then calculating the difference, followed by calculating the resistor value.

Has anyone tried removing the 220 uf cap on the green connector, it might tone down the green and stop the tinting... Why am I here? I've only ever worked on a dreamcast.
