Anyway, I think this would be better suited for technical information, as this is generally helpful.
Mario took care of that. I linked to it in my post.

yeah I need to know that too since I'm regulator shopping.
EDIT: Never mind it's just an outdated link here is the original post with fixed links.
Gamelver wrote:As is turns out, the Gamecube can in fact output an RGB signal, perfect for our favorite portablizing screen :D (the psone screen)!!!! Also, you can get VGA from the GC if you want :).

First of all, you're gonna need a component cable for the GC. Here's a place where you can get one :).

Once you've got your component cable, then open it up and start modding!!!!...according to these guides, of course ;)...
SNES/N64/GC pinout (please note that the RGB doesn't work on the GC, either)

Connect wires along all the black lines, do not connect any intersections. Connect wires along the white lines as well, and tie all grounds together somewhere.
thanks usbcd36 for originally posting these :)!!

oh yeah, and when I have time, I'll probably add some video mods for the PS2/XBOX, too :)...right now, I've got more homework ...

also, I'll add all I know about the GC ;)....

Edit: I'm gonna put up the thread with all my "useful" GCp posts...enjoy :)!

GCp info
GC mA measurements!
NOTE: the gamecube does NOT require 12v on the 12v line, according to shockslayer it will work with as little as 5v!
EDIT: Does anyone know if the 1.9v line can run on 1.8v I can't seem to find a good 1.9v dc-dc converter.

Hey, me again.
I found a tear down down on the Gamecube which includes pin outs for various ports. It may come in handy to someone, so here it is.

I'm betting that 1.8v would work fine on it, the link I just posted even list some of the PSU outputs as 1.8v instead of 1.9v.

a 7,4v battery charger?

well, it may work with custom regulators

-----------------------------

if with "a battery charger" you mean "battery":

the battery seems ok , but not sure about the 12v line of the gamecube, if you use less than 12v, like that battery, you probably will need to use custom regulators and suply 5v to the 12v line, I didnt tested this by myself, btw other members said it worked for them, so its your choice.

also, dont espect play 2 hours or more with that battery, the gamecube is power hungry, and ofc if you are worried about the power consumition, the screen of your choice, will be an important decision.

sorry for my bad english
dont worry , mine sucks too :D

sometimes I was wondering if people can get a word from my GCp guide, or the entire guide sounds like chinese xD

Naw, your guide is awesome!
If you're getting 404'd when trying to use the links in stickies, try this tutorial to find that juicy info.

ULTIMATE BUMP!

Most of the links are dead, are there any mirrors for how to get RGB out of an NTSC GC?
