Hey, I found a nice battery at radioshack... the universal portable dvd bat. item # 23-561. it's a lithium-ion, 9v, 6000mAh, and it has a led power gage. it was $80, but i think it's worth it :D

(Woo hoo! My FIRST POST!)

edit: Doh! I was looking through ben's PS2p guide, and saw his battery...it's the same one *laughs* oh well, guess i got a good one then.

A PS2, i've got just about everything i need except the frigging screen! I want to get a PSOne screen, but the local store that had them just sold out last week (knew i should have put one on lay away)...so i have the slimline, and battery, (of course i have controlers, and a memory card, planning on using segasonicfan's guide.

The reaction between potassium and water is nothing compared to that between cesium or even rubidium. When we saw a video of cesium and water, they put up a polycarbonate shield between the beaker and the camera, dropped a pea-sized portion in, then the beaker exploded with the force of about 10 firecrackers and the shield was slightly damaged. Now the beaker is breakable, but polycarbonates are very strong and hard to damage. This reaction is still nothing compared to how dangerously Francium or Cesium will react to Fluorine, but those two elements are so reactive that there is usually about a teaspoon of pure cesium in the world at a time and only a few atoms of francium over a period of a decade.

Naturally, the further down the line of alkali metals you get, the more reactive they become. Since Francium is the last, it is most violent. Halogens such as fluorine are also known to have strong reactions to the alkalis.
