Hi Folks,
I'm verrrrry new to modding / soldering and even newer to the forum I've an old fat PAL PS2 (SCPH-35003) lying around gathering dust and I'm just looking for some general ideas for mods etc. I can make to it. Something that will help me work on my soldering chops would be great.
I was originally looking around for something along the lines of adding a HDD, but I see that getting my hands on a network adapter and a IDE HDD is really all that's required (along with some USB pendrive trickery, etc.). Does anyone have any suggestions for a beginner? I'm happy to have a go at anything, really. On my list of projects ahead is the Dreamcast VGA port mod, so that's the kind of level I'm aspiring to next.
Thanks for your time

Make a VGA port there
Here's a simple working schematic http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/tutoria ... ndex4.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It needs VGA-capable apps or games though
I made one. Next to the AC connector, at the corner, and works good. Well i've sold it, no picture to show
