Modding my GC

I'm kinda new to the world of modding
And I have a gamecube sitting in my room
So I decided I would mod it
The gamecube is pretty much in prime condition
Its the Silver Gamecube
I have 4 controllers
Silver, Indigo/see through on back, Orange, and Black
I don't know where to start and I can't really find guides
Call me a newb all you want, but I just want some help
If you have any useful information for a newbie post it below

I will be updating with pictures and progress on my portable once I start my project

This site is dedicated to the building of portable game systems, and you can't find guides or anything? Read up on everything, and use the search feature. Or any modding site for that matter
And I dont really know where anything is yet
