Hay guys,
im was wondering about my DD's size, it's knida big and im thinking of trimming it down so it can fit in my zcp or cube X.

here are two photos i took:

This is what im going to remove in red: http://i861.photobucket.com/albums/ab17 ... 1307381619" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and im going to take all these things out first and place them in a small box for safe keeping, then when i've successfully trimmed the dd, i'll put them all back exactly as they are in this photo:

but, i wonder is this a good idea or not, i mean should i do it or leave the dd as it is.

what do ya think, guys?

For future reference, keep all of your questions in one topic. It makes things easier to answer and keeps the forum from getting clogged up.

But for your question, yes you can. You can slim the drive down by cutting down most of the base plastic, IIRC. There's a guide on this around somewhere.

You could also replace the drive with a Wii DVD drive or modchip for SD loading of games (Wiikey Fusion, WODE, possibly more).

nah, i just wanna slim the dd's bulk down, no wii drive or wode and such, because i have sdml and a sd gecko adapter and the sdml adapter with a 4GB SDHC with swiss on it.
