Not sure if this is the right section, but this thing is like a ps2 so w/e
I bought a psx desr a while back, and i'm looking at running it now.
however i would like to replace the 100v psu (jap) with a 240v (aus) one.
i disassembled the psx and have the psu out. it has four prongs, two for ground and two for Vcc.
but i have no way of knowing the voltage...i think.
Any ideas on how to identify the voltage? it has a ide Hdd in it that uses a molex so im quite confident it'll be 12v, but i would like to be sure.
i can post pictures if necessary,. any help is appreciated.
cheers
ps
if the psx is labelled as 100v 80w, what could i expect to be the required amp's of 12v?
