easybuy 2000 had that region mod available on their website when they were still around. Because of that, I'd have to say that it is legit.

Awww, I was thinking it was a total modchip-non-modchip solution >_< just re-read the article and yea, it is just about region-free-i-fying a cube. Argh, I had already bid on a Japanese gamecube ..hopefully someone out bids me
