I have the PS2 set up exactly as described in the wiring diagram.
Running from the battery, the screen turns on, and the PS2 shows a red light (off but plugged in).
When I turn the PS2 on, the light turns green for about a second, then it shuts off, then it goes back to red.
Why does this happen?
I'm assuming that there is not enough current going to the console (there is definitely the right voltage). Is this a good assumption? Has this happened to anyone before?
(if you need me to explain anything further let me know)
Thanks

Re: Problem With Almost Finished PS2 Portable
Really?
I need a new regulator?
This is the 3rd regulator I have gotten (the first 2 didn't step-up the voltage), and would like to not have to buy another one, but I guess if I have to I will.
Where is the link to that specific regulator?
Anyway thanks for the advice.

This one.

Re: Problem With Almost Finished PS2 Portable
Looks like you're not supplying enough mAh for your PS2's board. I had to use two (yes, TWO) voltage regulators to get my PS2 to work off batteries.
