NTSC-J PS2 power

Hey there,
just wondering what kind of power a japanese ps2 wants. I have a PAL ps2 and ps1 cable which im hoping might work

No, no! UK voltage is 240, Japanese systems use 110! You will fry your system unless you use a step-down transformer.

Is it a slim or a phat one? If it's a slim it should be ok to use your PAL power lead as it drops the voltage before entering the PS2.

Oh, didn't think of that. If it is the version that uses a transformer (power brick), you'll be fine as the DC voltages used by the consoles is the same.
