GCP V2
Moderator:Moderators
Here is my second GCP. Still have to screw the back on and adjust a couple of things but it's more or less done.
Specs:
Pal gamecube connected via rgb to psone screen
4 led modded screen with antiglare filter removed
Brightness + volume bottens
AV out jack
Headphone jack
Original powersuply jack (you can use the original one to power the whole thing)
Powerswitch and screen switch so you can play of tv without the psone screen on... battery saver
Disc switch
2 memorycards slots (once inserted it sits flush with the case so it won't stick out!!)
Left z buttons acts as start
Modified with XenoG modchip
Case used is a ZN-45 but I cut it down in height. Total dimensions are: 11,5 cm x 22,5 cm x 5,5 cm
There is no internal battery. The cover for the disc drive will have the battery in it. Covers already made but due to lack of time I can't completly finish it yet. When I get round to it I will post the pics. The battery will be 14,8v 8000mah. Once finished i'm going to sell it but don't expect it to be cheap
My first GCP was already the smallest there was but sadly it wasn't that beautifull looking. Since I sold it and my computer crashed I don't have a picture of it completly completed. This gcp is a bit bigger and completed in about a week. Had some stuff lefover so might as well put them to use no..
Still have some gamecube stuff left so I'm going to make another one My inspiration for this one will be sifu's portable 64 so i'm going to make it as small as humanly possible. Be on the lookout for my progress I'll give you a small teaser the total dimensions of the GCMini (that's what it will be called) is 11 cm x 19 cm x 4 cm

Both halves fit perfectly it's just that I need to screw the back on that's why it's hanging a bit in the pic.

Re: GCP V2 99% finished!!
Awesome! I would've gone with flat black but Awesome!
Re: GCP V2 99% finished!!
wow.. thanks for all the positive feedback. I painted it flat black first but it was missing something. Then though to myself that the psp kinda black would make it extra flashy So glossy it is!!
Ofcourse you get the standard problems with glossy black..............fingerprints but looks flashy non the less
When it's completely done I'll make a vid for sure.

Re: GCP V2 99% finished!!
Hmmm no pics of it running a game.
I likes to see pics of a game running.
But I do like it. Is there anyway to get higher res pics. Can you put some in a pic hosting site.

That's beautiful - I love how smooth the paint came out.
Re: GCP V2 99% finished!!
It is so amazing! What kind of paint is that, and how hard was it to apply?
Making stuff with my new beautiful CNC machine!
Would you like a professional looking custom case for your portable? I may be able to help you. Check out this link:
