Re: HELP!! PROBLEMS WITH MAH SCREEN. cant take 60hz
seems you have same problem I have with my crappy screen , bad luck mate :/
seems that screen doesnt support 60hz
Im also stuck on 50hz
I got some games on 50hz holding B at startup or using the qoob pro mochip forcing feature, btw those methods dont works for some games like metroid echoes (dont know why the hell nintendo included 50/60 hz selector at metroid prime , but echoes in only on 60,grrrr they lazy coders......)
I also got some homebrew working using custom versions or HEX editing, but only worked on few of them.
I was thinking about use a psone screen for my next cube or wii portable, but seems this screen may dont work, any advices for portable screens supporting PAL 50/60 and NTSC?

Re: HELP!! PROBLEMS WITH MAH SCREEN. cant take 60hz
The PSone screen will accept RGB (check the stickies in the screen section) but your gamecube (if that's what you're working on) has to be PAL, I believe. I couldn't get rgb working on my cube, anyway.Virtual Boy wrote:

If you're getting 404'd when trying to use the links in stickies, try this tutorial to find that juicy info.

i meant so i can run it on 60hz in RGB.
PAL screen PAL cube
PAL screen PAL cube
Re: HELP!! PROBLEMS WITH MAH SCREEN. cant take 60hz
You should be able to connect the screen with RGB then. The following links will show you what points to solder on the PSone screen and cube. Please note, though, that Kasar said the RGB pinout might be different on certain revisions of the cube.

Not as knowledgable about the hz part of your problem, sorry. Good luck with your portable!
