Hi there portable fans! Ben here with another pulse-pounding poll of ponderous pontification! (Note: As much as I hate referring to myself in the third person, it was unavoidable when titling this post). But, at any rate, cast your guesses here!

It's obviously the PS2, that's my vote...

Probably because it's the smallest already. I doubt even the mad skillz of Ben J. Heckendorn could grapple with the monstrousity that is the X-Box.

I'm going with the saturn how ever ridiculous it is I believe you can. Basicly the main reason is Sega seems to have a pattern of using large cases and so having a large open area inside.

As for the gamecube... cant argue that its small but having seen pictures of the inside its very compact. I dont think there is an effective way to make it small enough to portablize.

The PS2p I'm not saying its a close second. The biggest problem with the PS2 is according to Gannon it takes two amps, rather lot of power to support with just batteries.

Just my thoughts on this subject.

Well, since no one seems to think it's a PS2, here's a quote from an E-mail I got from Ben, concerning his next portable:
And MAN is it a pain-in-the-butt to make portable, lemme tell you! Especially re-wiring the damn DVD read head.
Last I checked, GCN and Saturn don't have DVD drives, unless you count the Panasonic Q. So that leaves PS2 and Xbox, but as much as I'd like to play Halo on the go, I think it's apparent as to which is more easily portablized...

Yeah I'd say the Gamecube because that thing is pretty small and like gannon said it does use a mini-dvd format....anyways I'm hoping to see a GCp from Ben because it would be awesome.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Well, at least we know he's not wasting his talents on the Sega Saturn. :P

I didn't think the GCN used DVD technology. I was under the impression that it was a propietary format, like the Dreamcast.
Just because it's an optical disc doesn't mean it's just a mini DVD...

It is a proprietary format, but its like a mini-dvd. Also, what else would you call it other than an optical drive?
