Open button on gamecube stuck. HELP!

Post by TStudiosGandA » Sun Jan 04, 2009 12:57 am

O.K. so the open/eject button is stuck in a pushed position, causing the lid to stay open. I have tried applying WD-40 to the button, but to no avail. Any ideas of how to fix this?

I can't open up the system, because the screws that hold it together have no indents (they're just round) Is there any other way to open it without breaking the case?

common problem. Just take a thin knife, file or even piece of paper, make a circle and it should work again

Clean out the crack around the button.*

Oops.
I only just started studying in September and just had a two week break, so I'm not quite in the right mind right now.
But no excuses, I should've done that right. :?

if you pay for the flight ticket, I can dress up as you and take your tests for you. I'm a nice guy like that.

"Mhmmm... you look different"
-"Uh... I took a shower?"
"...why are you speaking with a german accent?"
-"Well this is german class, isn't it?"

I'm acing the class, it's ridiculously easy.
And my teacher wouldn't notice if I switched anyway.

I'd offer to fly over and take your English tests, but you obviously don't need it. :)
