Xbox High Defenition

Post by daguuy » Mon Jan 21, 2008 1:22 am

Since I got my brand new 14 year old 90" HDTV, I'd like to use it. I know the original Xbox is capable of 720p. Does that mean the hardware just has the ability to display that resolution, or are all the games made for 720p?

Yeah and we here in North America are getting screwed in the ass with the prices on these TVs.

My info tech teacher`s son works with a company that builds HDTVs and said the mark-up on HDTVs are like 1000%-3000%, the guy was able to get himself a 30"-50" 1080p HDTV for like $600-$700 since he works for the company.

 brand new 14year old HDTV
Brand new is when it is the newest brand on the market.

Sorry I just had to point that out.

You have to look at the back of the game box, where it will say if it supports 720p. Otherwise it's just going to be scaling up the 480p signal (not that it will look bad though).
