well... you have the best hackable-for-homebrew console availabe in this time... i recomend you to not sell it... i dont think that you can find for that low cost:

(*)- a console that can run all those emulator in such perfect condition.
(NES, SUPERNES,GAMEBOY, GAMEBOYCOLOR, GAMEBOYADVANCE, N64 GENESIS, MASTER, GAMEGEAR, NEOGEO, PSONE, CPS, CPS2, CPS3, MAME, MUGEN, ETC...)

(*)- a console that can be a great multimedia player.
(VIDEO: DVD, VCD, AVI, MPG, WMV, MP4, DAT, ETC...)
(AUDIO: ACD, MP3, WMA, WAV, ETC...)
(IMAGE: JPG, BMP, GIF, PNG, ETC...)

(*)- a console that can be use as great and real Linux pc whit tools that can remplaces the windows ones.
(OpenOffice.org, Firefox, ETC...)

(*)- a console that let you storage your own games to its harddrive so they dont accidentally get damages.

really... keep that console and upgrade it all you can
(HDD Upgrade, 128mb RAM Upgrade, DVD Upgrade)

or just wait to see if all that can be done bettet with another console.

Yep, you just need insane skills and the higher capacity chips.

There was also a 1.4Ghz processor mod floating around the xbox-scene forums awhile back I remember... (now THAT would require some insane skills!)

I looked up the ram upgrade and you add a new ram chip to the xbox.
Only some xboxs have space for it do. And it seems hard.

yes... you can do that mod on xbox version 1.0 to 1.5...
you can not do it on 1.6 boxes cause ms remove the ram slots. just a note... ms start to make 1.6 by 03/04... revise the date on the sticker under the case!!....

it really not too difficult... just a little time consuming... i done mine by myself with no problem

Just incase anyone didnt know the ram chip needs to be soldered in. Some people says it is easy many others say it is hard and even the smallest error could fry the xbox. The biggest benefit of the ram upgrade is linux, everything else doesnt benefit much from it.

As far as the processor goes I remeber them releasing a DreamX Xbox system which had a 1.4ghz cpu but I do not remember any tutorial for it since a company was selling them. Anyone know if there was ever information on how to do this mod?

Surreal 64 can benefit from it too. Apparently it makes more processing-intense games smoother (like Perfect Dark).
