I got my 360 the other day, and I bought the following games
Ncaa 08
Tiger Woods 06
Halo 2
But when I try to download the maps to play online in halo 2, it says "File is BrokenBlahBlahBlah"
Help?
Also, and game suggestions?

Gears is pretty overrated I must say. The campaign is pretty cool, but reasonably short. The online is kind of lame IMO. I honestly have no idea why it is popular. The only part of the online I like is playing co-op through the campaign.
If you're already thinking about Crackdown then I would say go ahead and get it. It is basically GTA with super powers. I had a blast playing it and spent enough time with it to warrant the investment of purchasing it.
Or if you wait a week you can pick up BioShock. Check out the demo on Xbox Live if you are connected and have a hard drive. It is amazing. I had little interest in this one until checking out the demo. Now I'm thinking it just moved very high on my "must have" list.
Beyond that there is always Oblivion (quite possibly the greatest game ever made IMO), Forza 2, Viva Pinata, Call of Duty 2 and 3, GRAW 1 and 2, Rainbow Six Vegas, Guitar Hero 2, and the list goes on and on.
Enjoy your new purchase!
PS - There is absolutely nothing wrong with picking up NCAA 08 and Tiger Woods 06. Both can be quite enjoyable in their own right. Feel no shame!

Yes, get Bioshock, or I will slap you over the internet.

I've never played Halo 2, but from what I've read you can download the maps on the 360 and use them just like you could on the original Xbox.typamc95 wrote:WhyDoes it say something is wrong with the maps?
No halo 2 online for me?
I guess I can wait for halo 3
Perhaps, as others have said, they are just having issues at the moment.
for the maps (map pack extension) u have to buy the map pack game disk for now, someone posted on this one site (cant remember what the site is) that u cant download the map pack from the system anymore or something for the 360. if u would mod ur 360 though, u could ftp into it and add the map pack if u download it and put it into the hard drive.
