Good Point. They are pretty cheap too. My step-dad went to uni and had special course on soldering.
Damn, if you lived in Australia I could have gotten him to do it for you for free. But you dont live here. Shame.

I want one, they look simple to install (about as hard as a Solderless Xbox Modchip - and I've done one of them)
I've found most sites to have them for $30 but you can get Wiikey Clones in a 20 pack for $60. The Clones are exactly the same. PM me if you need to know the sites

it is not a very difficult install and it works fine for backups

I'd wait on getting one, with what Nintendo is doing to lock out chipped consoles, I'd wait until the different chips have this stuff figured out.

I have bought that 20 pack for $59.95. Easy to install so far i have installed 7 of them and absolute so problems. I install them for about $20-40 depending on who they are (friend or random), but yer if your looking for a Wii Modchip WiiKey Clone FTW. Cheers^_^
