Can you run this off of 7.5 volts instead of 7.2 without a reguator? (also not hurt anything)

wat? if you feed anywere near 7-8 into it you will be fine, just dont remove the 7805 that is already on the psone

You don't need a regulator, it works fine with 7.5, and some people say it works with 8.5 or something.

it works with 9v, but my psone screen doesn't like 9v very much (gets fuzzy).
im using a NIKKO 7.2v rechargeable NI-CD rc car battery that I got a frys for $14
