Sega how-to's?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Use a Radica, and that's all I can say.

Yes I mean how-to's.

Use a radica? You mean build a radica? Or use the directions for a radica?

I'll say how to make a GENESIS V2 PORTABLE, DUM DUM DUM!
Equipment:
PSONE SCREEN
GENESIS

I swear to god, just open the two up, and connect the ground, power, video, etc. Next just buy a RC car connector Male, and modify it by slicing an end off then putting a PSONE (white one) power cord on it...then connect the PSONE in, then the RC thing to the battery, turn it on, and see if it works...and done :p.

This was done in aboot 45 sec.

Basically just solder pin to pin using http://pinouts.ru . Almost everything is there, and it helped me a lot.

The main page on the left side is a list of Ben's portables. You'll find his "making of" story under the Exodus. If you need the pinout for the Radica go to the download section of the site and you should find it.

Otherwise everthing like desoldering the builtin rom, wiring up power, connecting A/V to the screen should all be easy from there.

I have a very easy to make Genesis ondago guide on my site, but I just checked and it's down  I can't even log in!

If you want I could just repost it on the forums.

I can access your site now, G-force. That's odd. Nice walkthrough, by the way.

That was weird. Anyways, hereit is. (keep in mind I wrote it a year ago, in one night no less  )

One good reason to use a real Genesis over a radica, 100% compatibility. And it's cheaper and easier. The size of the board is the only downside, but if you're using a big screen it dosn't matter.
