Hey looks like I'm the first on the N64 thread. Cool. Anyway I'm about 90% done with my N64p and I wanted to thank you guys for helping me with my questions. It was built in a RadioShack project box and it runs off of 8 AA's. This summer im going to try to build a vacuum-formed case for it. Btw, has anyone ever done that? I hope to put up pictures soon on a website with more specs on it. Thanx for the input.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

IT'S FINISHED!!!!!!!!
I just got done completing my N64p and became so excited that I had to announce to the world! Pictures will be up as soon as I find my parents digital camera (which it shouldn't take a long time to find) but until then I'll tell you some quick aspects of my first portable. It uses a GBA SP as the screen, yes a GBA SP. I bought an adapter to change the image into digtal. It actually looks pretty good. I used 8 rechargable AA batteries and they can be charged via the gamecube AC plug. It can also play on the TV.
Finally, after many, many weeks and long, monotonous, and frustrating hours my first portable of my favorite system is complete!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK here are some pictures. It runs for about an hour and 20 minutes but I'm hoping to get some 2100 mAh Energizer batteries for longer running time. Hope you enjoy it. Here's the URL
C:\Program Files\Yahoo SiteBuilder\sites\default\sitebuilder\preview\index.html
Just copy and paste in the web adress it should work.

Ok here's the actual website. Like I said before when it comes to computers I'm no expert. Here's the url.

Later this summer I am going to build a vacuum form table and try to create a vacuum-formed N64.

Yeah I like this new board too. Really organized.
Anyway now that I've finished my N64p I'll be working on a new vacuum formed case and a PSp, with the PSp being first because I already have all the parts, even the screen.
I'll try to create a better website and get some better pictures.

Just thought I'd say this for those unfamiliar with PHPbb:
To link to an url, just type the name of the site. No tags are needed
To link to an url with different text, the tags are like this [url=<website adress>]<text you want shown>[/url]
if you want to quote someone, you can use the quote button, or use these tags: [quote="<name of person>"]<what was said>[/quote] or [quote] <what was said>[/quote] but that does not give any names.
Edit: disabled HTML, then noticed I needed to disable BBCode.

Thats cool how you used the GBA SP as a screen. I'm thinking of doing that to my NESp (if I ever figure out how to build the adapter; I've tried about 5 or 6 times but the problem is I didn't do the Gyromite thing, so I don't know what pins are which on my Super Joy).
I wonder if there's a way to use the controls from the GBA (It wouldn't work very well for a N64 obviously, but for an NESp project it would be nice).

Well, you can buy an adapter for the GBA SP from
http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?catego ... ts_id=4326&
to play NES games. You can buy the 60-72 pin adapter there too if you want.
The A/V adapter for the GBA to play can also be bought there, that's where I bought mine. It's pretty small and it works well, although for games like Zelda where you have to read text a lot it gets a little hard read.
Here's the url for the GBA A/V Adapter
