LCD and PSOne draw
Moderator:Moderators
Does anybody know how many amps the LCD and PSOne draw, with and without the LED mod? I want to figure out what kind of run time I'm going to get with my batteries.

Re: LCD and PSOne draw
I'd figure a maximum of 2 amps....it will probably draw a bit less most of the time, but it can draw that much sometimes.

Warranty-Voiding fun!
Last time this was asked I believe the answer was ~950mA, you can bring down the power draw if you do the LED mod, that usually cuts it in half.

Q for Stereth
Hey Stereth, did you build that adapter to use an RC battery for your PSp yourself? I've been looking for one because I'm too lazy to actually build one.

The PSone screen actually has a .906 amp draw. Looking through the manual it says the maximum power consumption is 6.8W so 6.8 divided by 7.5 comes to .906 and thats MAX, I can run the screen off 7.2 and less...so the power consumption is even less then that, not the commonly told 1Amp.
