HELP

Post by Guest » Mon May 10, 2004 6:36 pm

Okay, ive been working on an n64p. I am pretty sure i have everything hooked up properly when i try to run it off batteries. I am using brand new duracells. My power converter is a 12v to 3v universal gameboy converter rated at 2A. I will turn the system on, and the scteen will flash, but nothing happens. However, when i plug in the normal n64 ac adapter, it works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am going to try a new converter.

Thanks

Alkaline batteries will have significant trouble supplying 2A.

Stay away from plain old disposable batteries. They get expensive and have little playtime. Use 2x00mA rechargables instead: better playtime and cheaper in the long run :)

I do that all the time now that Ben has moved the site. The old one was blocked because the school's filter blocked all classicgaming.com sites
