PSone Efficiency Maximizations

Post by Dark-Show » Mon Mar 05, 2012 6:50 pm

Is there any way to make the PSone console more efficient?
Even a small increase in savings would suffice, i just want to know if its possible.
I've glanced at my board and did not notice any SM 7805's which if found were going to be replaced by switching regulators.

Does anyone have any other ideas for this project?

Do you mean more power effiecent?

If that's the case, then check this out

If you replaced the CD-ROM drive, then you would be using a lot less power.
