rewiring game port

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

i have always wondered.. cant i just connect the holes in the circuitboard with the Pin that used to Fit into it..
instead of soldering on those points besides it. as imo this would make a much tougher and more reliable connection.

You can.

I don't know about tougher and more reliable connection though. If you can solder, and you do it right, soldering to those pins will be as good a connection as any.
