being able to port out to a TV from hand held

Post by Smithy » Wed May 11, 2011 8:11 pm

I am going to begin work on a portable snes soon and I was wondering if it would
be possible to have jacks on it to port out to a TV?, also is it possible if you did do
this could you make it so that the screen would not be on so that the only have the game
on the TV?, I say this because I believe it would save battery power?

Please and thank you :)

Everything's possible.

But on that, there's jacks available that have switch in. You can just simply connect that switch to the LCD's power wire. So when you plug the A/V plug in, switch goes off and LCD shuts.

I would use 3,5mm jack.
