Retro Bit expansion pack

Post by Reubensupernerd » Sun Mar 27, 2011 1:07 am

Does anyone here have any past experience with the Retro Bit expansion pack? Will it brick n64's like the yobo variety? The reason I ask is that from time to time the GOAT store sells them fairly cheaply, also because I'm curious as to whether it has two 2 mb chips or one 4 mb (so I can replace the chips on the n64 mobo and have no need for the expansion pack).

I seen hailrazer use them, but i also have heard of them not functioning properly. In other words, they work for a short time but then stop. The ones that I have seen all had a single 4mb chip on the inside.
