I wired a relocation and it worked fine, %100. Then i did a little trim, not all of it, and when I checked it it wasn't working. When I turn it on, the screen goes orange-ish brown then slowly goes orange. I know what the problem isn't so thats a good step. the problem is not...
The game
The expansion/jumper pak
The relocation
The plugs
The only thing that was different was the part I trimmed. It looks like this. Am I missing something???

Re: Quick Question *Important*
Check your connections on rewiring the 3.3v line. Looks like you might have it, though.

I may see a problem:
The 'missing' pin, (it's got 48 pins, though room for 50? The missing part), the pin on top immediately to the right of that 'missing' one, looks like it MIGHT be touching the ground plane, which appears to be showing through.

I did. The light comes on too. I will check again. It seems 12V and ground are bridged somewhere with invisible solder. Possibly

Re: Quick Question *Important*
I checked another board again and it was pretty dirty but i noticed a trace or two. I cleaned that area and here is a picture.
The traces were cut so i tried to re-wire them and it seemed to do something because the screen reacts slightly differently but still doesn't work!

Re: Quick Question *Important*
In the first pic, the very bottom right wire appears it may be touching that ground pin. That's all I can see.

That pin is a ground itself though.Bush wrote:In the first pic, the very bottom right wire appears it may be touching that ground pin. That's all I can see.

This was for a commission, and I just sent the stuff back except for the N64 because it is mine. Now it works again! Weird...
