psone screen power pin

Post by MarioOwnsAll » Mon Feb 28, 2011 5:35 pm

I am having a really hard time soldering to the solder pads on the back of the psone screen (I can't even see the power solder pad anymore) is there another solder pad on the psone screen or an easier way to solder to the solder pads? The solder I am using is coated in flux so it should stick.

You can see the trace as it is outlined in darker green, just like with all motherboards.

Follow the trace up a tiny bit, scrape the green paint off, apply flux, and solder the wire there. The pad that you soldered to is probably ripped off.
