I'm going to led mod my psone screen and the guide that I am using says to solder a 10ohm resister to the +5v supply on the back of the board and then solder the positive ends of all the leds to the other end of the 10ohm resister (and of course ground all the leds). However I heard that the guide I'm using is out of date and that I am supposed to use a different value and amount of resisters. This is the guide I have been using:

Re: led modded psone screen
I believe it's a 30 ohm resistor for each LED. They should be wired serially.

Re: led modded psone screen
So should it be wired like this if I want to use 4 leds (one per corner)?
