vacuum forming

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

vacuum forming

I am planning on making a portable and the cart slot cover needs to be vacuum formed and I don't know what the plastic sheets are made of or where to pick some up.

Look for HIPS (high impact polystyrene) in 2mm or .08" thickness.
Here's a good place.

Awesome, now I just need to get my hands on some wood and some power tools to build the vacuum table/frame/mold and I'm set......... hands on wood that didn't sound too good lol.
