Best of luck to you, cplexroro, looks like you know what you're doing and I like how you asked questions before you started!

Just one question: Will the Tomee controller work with a stick swap or will you being using the stock joystick?

Also, if you plan on trimming the board, I suggest a dremel if you don't already have one. Although I heard some good snippers or scissors will also work. And that soldering iron you linked to doesn't look too easy to work with... pistol grip? I've never used one so maybe I'm wrong.

no, im not planning on trimming the board, i would love to see the out come of that, i have the shaky hand of a serial killer so i'd probably just have some unrecognizable pile of green powder in the end :P.
im not going to do a stick swap because i've heard REALLY good things about the tomee controller, the only thing im changing is im gonna use ps1 triggers because i think cutting a hole for the flat stock ones would be really hard. lol thanks so much, you people are awsome

the great thing about all of this is that i have A: my brothers mad art skillz, B:my brothers mad sculpting Skillz C: my brothers mad soldering Skillz D: my brothers money....(skillz)
lol, i asked for him to finance it and help me out with it as a Christmas present ^o^
i've successfully eliminated all the hassle i've heard of these things, its free (for me) and im sure with two people we'll "get er' done" Super quick!

The actual trigger is a tact switch already.

But they are clicky tacts. Ideally you want mushy tacts. And sir, you are awesome for using the Tommee. Not using the best N64 controller available seems counter intuitive to me.
