None of the buttons are colored. I assume he just didn't add color to the drawing.
The red buttons and the green screen is colered.

would it be even possible to use a psp stick for the c-stick.
Yes but no buttons are colored on the N64 portable, so I guess he assumed we knew what they were. lol

I think you could use a psp stick for the c-stick , just have to mess around with what resistor values are needed.

if you can make a psp work as a joystick ...
if you can use a gamecube stick as 4 buttons ...

I assume this would be possible.

for the psp to be used as a c stick (digital), 90% sure you'd have to disassemble it and reassemble using the razor a2D board.

So not as easy as using a Gamecube stick and just tweaking resistor values?

I think he's actually using a four way tact switch.

That part is not so easy, I don't think anyone has succeeded in making it work in an N64 controller.

ANYWAY, I barely understood the last page of postings in this thread, but I'll try to answer the questions presented here.

I am using a multidirectional tact for the c-buttons. The "cap" for the c-buttons will be yellow, I just didn't color it in the model. The A and B buttons will probably be grey. I might use N64 buttons instead of GB buttons if I can fit them.

And wait, are you guys telling me that nobody has ever used a PSP stick with a 3rd party N64 controller? :P I don't think enough people were trying, or they probably didn't have the right controller. I got it to work, I'll try to put up a video soon.

A little progress-
I got the cart slot cover done. :)

And this thing you're looking at is the c-buttons. The six wires in the middle are for the tact (1 ground, 4 directional buttons, and 1 middle button). The other wires are for four LEDs that are glued inside the yellow cap. I might just have them lit all the time to indicate where the button should be pressed, or maybe I'll use them for battery indication. We'll see.

ohh i see. that makes sense. You said that led's were inside the button?

one other thing, theres no grip for your fingers on top, and what if you press more than one button?
