What are the specs of the potentiometer you're using, and where is it hooked to the speakers? Is it right before the speakers, or is it a part of the amp circuit, or what?

The potentiometer is that little blue and white component on the perf board.
It seems to be simply a Micro potentiometer you can get at radio shack.

As argelfraster said, you can buy the potentiometer at radio shack. The LM386 is the revised "N" version so there is no excess noise! Here it is complete with all labelings:

P.S. The only LM386 that is connected is the one on the bottom right corner.

looks nice but i would either center the screen or put screen control buttons underneath because you left a giant space underneath it.
also the l,r, and z buttons are too far in it will be really uncomfortable with them there !
i like the overall sketch !
it came out really good.

Agreed about the placement of the L/R/Z, but also, I'd put the Z under either the L or R, not have both L and R on one side, because then it doesnt really make any sense seeing as L and R are Left and Right Triggers.
Case looks to be rather good design though, but I also think that the A and B buttons might be too high.

Thanks for the input. I'll see how it looks with the L,R, & Z placement changed. Also, I was thinking of replacing the 3.5" screen with a 5" psone To fix that white space. Any thoughts?
Edit: I'll see how it looks with the buttons moved. Also, I might be able to relocate the cart slot today! (The way everyone likes it

Couldn't do the relocation tonight so I'll have to wait till the weekend. I'm going to cut the board first instead. If I remove the grounding plates do I have to relocate anything? Probably not right?
