SNES - Black image

Post by Dbstew » Fri Oct 29, 2010 3:33 am

I just removed the expansion port of my SNES, but now I get no image. Anyone know what could be the problem?
The led still turns on, so I guess nothing happened to the fuse.
My TV detects there's a signal, but it just stays black.

Any suggestions are appreciated

check and double check every one of the pins with a multimeter or something.

Some of the pins are probably shorted with each other.
Try to run an exacto knife between each pin on the board, but don't cut any traces!
