C1 is a compacitor

Why would we do this.

What would this do.

What Purpose does this serve.

Compacitor?
It would make for some nice LEDs in a controller. You don't have to spam the boards like this, ya know :/

How Is This Spamming. I'm Asking A Question. Many Questions. Okay mako321.

Usually "CX" On a board are for capacitors.

Yes, I can see the leads from the capacitor on in the solder; the capacitor is on the other side.

The LED would be on there because somebody wants an LED.

You have been commenting on nearly every post, mostly with useless comments or ones that I'm pretty sure you don't need the answer to, and most certainly don't benefit the community. This might not be what your intentions are, but that's what I feel it's becoming. You do have some useful posts, though.

Mako does have a point. By, I cringe every time I see a post by you, because of the immense number of useless comments that seem to be there for no reason other than to up your post count.

Edit: I got sig-quoted! Thanks, gmax!

What Does Post Count Have To Do With AnyThing.

Someone could post up to 9000 Posts and still have a rep of 1.

I dunno. It makes it look cool I guess...

hahaha

And yea, adding a Capacitor would add that feature when you un-plug the controller (or cut power the the LED), it will slowly (depending on the micro farads (uF)) 'dim / die' down giving it a power down effect.
