battery question

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

battery question

I'm planning on using two of these batteries in my next portable but they don't have a protection circuit (as far as I can see) can someone tell me what kind of protection circuit I would need for two of these batteries?

Oh and from what I hear there are two pins where the cart slot connects to the mobo that are audio left and right is this right?
