i thought you could just wire in a lockout chip from a cart, but then it wouldn't play all games, some have better security

You stole my idea! I was going to do that with marshallh's cart emulator when it came out.

actually, you might want to hold out due to the load times

The neomyth only uses the lockout chip. will wire all pal and ntsc chips in for full compatibility. With a simple switch to switch between the chips. As for load times. It is a good as the original now. Check neoflash.com for more info.

The Neo sd pro also has 1gb of flash for games to be burned to. So I can always burn the games that don't work properly with sd like that.

The Neo sd pro also has 1gb of flash for games to be burned to. So I can always burn the games that don't work properly with sd like that.
the load time from sd is 30 seconds or 120 seconds depending on the size of game. the sd pro has 128MB (1024mbit) of flash meaning you can put two 512mbit games onto the flash or four 256mbit games. the sd does not support 512mbit games. cartridge slot would be smaller than neo cart with all the lockout chips and sd pro adapter. and have no long loading time.

you're right about everyting exept that it wll be thinner as I can place the board where I want and not have to think about the big catridge connector. But I'l just have to prove you wrong when I get to it. I've ordered all the parts I need so when everything get's here I'll get busy
