This is my nearly finished portable. Im just waiting for the PTH. It was a lot of work but im pretty pleased:)

When I first saw the original thread, I thought, "There's no way he'll be able to turn that toy into a case for a portable." I'm sorry for doubting you and I am glad you proved me wrong. :)

This portable looks excellent. Great job.

Thx but this is just my second portable and i did the first one with no regards to looks. It was just to see if i could make it work. So in a way its my first:)
But i have always been fond of making things with my hands. I guess thats why im a carpenter. Ill be starting on a new one as soon as this is completely finished.

Used a two component filler for car panels. No shrinkage :)
