The "iGenesis" iPhone dock

Post by kinjjibo » Wed Apr 21, 2010 3:48 pm

I have four Genesis' and four iPhone docks. Only two Genesis' work, so I had an idea to open it up and insert a dock to fit in it. It worked, but it involved my destroying the cart slot because my solder pump broke. Out of all this came the iGenesis.

It works great and I may make more someday.

I'm attaching the headphone jack to the Genesis headphone jack when I go out and buy solder. And this Genesis's power was busted, so it doesn't turn on with the console. That would be sweet though but I had to use what was available. My two model 1s are busted.

Oh yeah, and this is just a fun little stick-a-dock-in-a-console mod. It serves no other functions as of right now. I need more tools.
