It runs with just an expansion pak in, without the RAM chip on the board. This means that we can finally.... this isn't useful for anything at all.

Stack 2 2 megs on top of each other and with thermal paste in between to see how hot it gets, as long as you're having fun it'd be good to get some info out of all this. :D

Yes. I read it in one of the logs but for the love of god I can't remember which.

So yeah, it saves you a little bit of room, but if you can relocate the exp pack then I would just do that. Same amount of room saved, really.

I was just gonna suggest trying 6 megs on MR, SS. See if it detects the exp. pak, still. Maybe it will but only in games that don't require it...
Cheers,

Actually it saves you almost 3/4 of room, which is a lot when you're working in a tiny portable.

Not really, that's not useful space. it doesn't decrease the overall footprint at all.

Actually 200mAh with a 3.5 inch screen can mean the difference between a 1.2 amp charger, and a 1.5 amp which battery space doesn't currently stock. And in tiny n64 portables a half inch of space is useful.
