Well I don't led mod my screens , I like the look of the original better.
Also I was thinking maybe just an external Vmu adapter. Plug in the adapter and then plug in the Vmu. Then have it velcro/clip on the portable.
Hmmmm well I'll have to think more about it.

Yea thought of that but it would be VERY complicated and you would need a area much larger than the VMU for the hole it will go into.

Looks like the person who commissioned this went MIA. That's why I ask for payment in advance. Should have demanded that on this one also.aceboy44 wrote:Just curious, what is the battery life for this DCp?

Ask for a $200 deposit, that way you can know if they're "for realz"hailrazer wrote:Looks like the person who commissioned this went MIA. That's why I ask for payment in advance. Should have demanded that on this one also.aceboy44 wrote:Just curious, what is the battery life for this DCp?

Nah it's just pay in advance from now on. I've proved myself in this business. I'm not wasting time with anyone if they aren't really going to pay.marshallh wrote:Ask for a $200 deposit, that way you can know if they're "for realz"hailrazer wrote:Looks like the person who commissioned this went MIA. Not unless someone else wants to pay me to do it. I haven't really done to much yet.nobble wrote:are you still going to finish it?

Why not finish it with your own cash and sell it after?

Re: Hailrazers's 2nd Dreamcast Portable -- The Dreamweaver
Cause I already built one for myself, I don't need another. And I don't build these for the money. I build them for fun and for others to enjoy. I charge a lot because I spend a lot of time on them and need an excuse to tell my wife why I am building portables and not taking her outjjhammerstein wrote:Why not finish it with your own cash and sell it after?

I'm still around, life's just pretty hectic atm, but I still don't know what I'd be paying for, we haven't even sorted out the VMU issue yet >.< if you don't think we'd be able to get it to my specs and you still want to complete it, you could chuck it on ebay and make money out of it, they always go for quite a bit ^^
Re: Hailrazers's 2nd Dreamcast Portable -- The Dreamweaver
PAY THE MAN! He'll find a way to make it work. I want to see this portable finished.
Re: Hailrazers's 2nd Dreamcast Portable -- The Dreamweaver
also, it's quite rude to make him start working on something and then just bailing out
Re: Hailrazers's 2nd Dreamcast Portable -- The Dreamweaver
I would just finish it and sell it on ebay, or to someone on the forums. I'm sure you would still be able to get the same amount of money.
