2 controllerports to 1 controller

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

hello,i was thinking,isnt there some kind of converter/adapter that allows you to connect 1 controller on 2 ports via an adapter?


like this:
_ _ <- controllerports 1 & 2
\ / <- adapter/converter of some sorts

no, there isnt. why the heck would you want to do that? i fail to seehow that could be useful. :?

Switching chars when you die in 2p DKC3,te controller wires get clustered up

that would be switching them, not controlling both at the same time. Look for Erlex's worklog, he has a diagram there for a switch.
