controller question

Is there some way to make it so that when you plug a controller into the player one jack, it automatically switches data to the controller plug instead of the built in controller? Like with out using a toggle switch.

Step 1: Get a lever switch.

Step 2: Wire it according to this post (Which, might I add, was on the second page of the thread I linked to, something you should have discovered if you read it through).
