Here's the item before sanding, the height trimmed to 37mm high, as the final height of the system will be around 72-76mm, so this represents half the total height of the system.

After a coat of plastic primer spray paint and then couple of good coats of spray paint. Resting the case on a couple of old foam sanding blocks so the bottom doesn't stick to the box painting onto:

Need to sand it, may then just need a final coat, then varnishing. Once done, the holes will be checked and sanded if needed; then decals, then fill the case top with the electronics! :awesome: The case base will need more work done yet.

As people seem to prefer me using "Into" for my vacuum formed cases, I decided to change the name of this project to "DreamBox" (snowpenguin suggested it).

Ok, made and installed the d-pad cross.

Image

You can see how it was made by visiting my Wordpress site - link in the News section there... :D

Guts in case now, including the buttons.

This is far neater than I have done before! :D

ALL FUTURE UPDATES FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE ON THE MODRETRO SITE THREAD!

Not easy to keep two similar threads going, anyway, not getting much feedback here!

I had no Idea that he was banned here too. I can see why he would be banned here, though.

He left of his own accord, he just happened to be banned about the same time. Not sure why he left.

he left modretro because he thought the mods over there were trying to demote and get rid of him. He misinterpreted everything and freaked. He left the site, then came back to PM people links to other modding sites and to try to make modretro look bad. That he why he was banned. Because of Pming people to ry to make them leave. He thinks that everybody from modretro and BH hates him and are out to get him, and that is why bacteria left.
