hi, i have some questions about the MD:
1. which parts can i cut off from the pal megadrive 2 curcuit board and is it a multilayer one?
2. how much mA does it need?
3. would you recommend to build in a 3rd party 6button pad (where the d-pad is missing :/ ) or a first party 3 button pad?
4. and where can i find a description to mod it to have rgb output and 50/60Hz?

Re: megadrive questions
1. I don't think it's multilayer but I'm not sure.
2. No idea, sorry.
3. Six button pad, much more flexible.
4. Gamesx maybe, maybe Mmmmonkey.

Re: megadrive questions
it's rated for 850 mA, but I don't know how accurate that is.
you can cut off the grounding strips(the dots and lines of solder)
*opens genny 2*
mine is 2 layers, topside and underside
I have noticed that there are diff motherboards in model 2s, mine is PC BD MD2 VA3 USA, you can find it right under the white sega logo on the motherboard.
If you have the same, which I doubt because you call it a megadrive, I can get pics of what can be cut off for you, assuming you plan to use it for a portable.
