I have my n64 all wired up and working with a battery that is 7.4V 5300 mah.
I tried to cut my psone screen down to a smaller size, but i messed up somewhere, and now all i have is a gamecube screen which draws 12v.
If im correct the PTH regulator connected to the n64 give 3.3 and 12v ( right ?)
How can i get 12v to the screen from the regulator?
I need an answer ASAP, because i have an internship interview and i need to bring one of my projects.
Thanks in advance.

You don't get 12V from the regulator. You get 3.3V and the supply volatage, which in this case is 7.4V. You can get a step-up regulator, get a higher-voltage battery, or attempt to run the screen off of 7.4V. The last option is the best one IMHO. You probably need to LED mod, because the backlight is usually the first thing to go.

If it's led-modded, then the PSOne screen will run perfectly fine from a 7.4/7.5v source.

You could at least try it at 7.4 volts right now. The n64 12 volt line works with 7.4 volts. Shockslayer even said that the gamecube console can run on 7.4 volts. But there's issues with the disc drive. Which is why we can't use 7.4 volt batteries with a gamecube.

dont tell anybody about the details of the screen or somebody will go and pinch it like they did to me i would even edit the mention about it out or somebody will go looking for it as that is a little too much information.

What sort of gamecube screen is it? If it's a Zenith it'll run off 7.4V as it's just a repackaged Psone screen.

Yeah, a zenith screen is the same thing as a psone screen. It will run fine off of 7.4 volts. Don't go up to 9 though. That will fry it.
You did say however that it runs off of 12 volts, which means that there is probably some kind of regulator already in there. Weird, can you give us more details?
