GameShark Pro shenanigans

Hello, I know this is an old thread but I too have a GameShark Pro 3.3 that is not booting. I suspect that the data on the eeprom chips is corrupted.

I was wondering if I could get some help here. First I'm having trouble finding a decoded dump of the 3.3 version...

Second how did you interface the 2 eeprom chips in parallel. Which one is used for the 8 lower bits of the 16bits words and which is for the 8 MSB? Are both chips' command signals toggled at the same time (OE, CS, etc)?

I have multiple microcontroller board I could use to interface this thing. I was thinking of a STM32-DISCOVERY or maybe an LPCXpresso. Is there a better alternative?
